What to fill in
- Invoice number: any consistent scheme (INV-000001, INV-000002...).
- Due date: same day to 14 days for most service work. Shorter is better.
- Line items: one line per service so nothing is a mystery.
- Payment link: the whole point. A pay-now link beats "mail a check".
- Terms (optional): late fees only if you've agreed to them in advance and your state allows them.

Do I need to charge sales tax?
It depends on your state and what you sell. Mandalo's invoices don't include tax controls yet, so ask your accountant or state tax agency how it applies to you.
