How we handle your data.
Mandalo collects only what's needed to run your payment dashboard and deliver payment links to your customers. All payment processing is handled by Stripe.

What we collect
Merchants provide a business name, email address, and password when registering. Your Stripe Connect account details are stored by Stripe and referenced by Mandalo. When a merchant creates a payment request, they may enter a customer email or phone number. Mandalo uses it for payment-link delivery, receipts, and customer-approved saved-card confirmation.
Card data
Mandalo does not store card numbers, CVCs, or bank account information. All card data is entered directly into Stripe's secure payment flow and governed by Stripe's privacy policy. Mandalo never sees or handles raw card data.
How we use your information
Merchant account information is used to authenticate your dashboard and associate payment requests with your account. Customer contact information is used to deliver payment links and receipts. Email addresses are shared with Resend for delivery and, when used for a Stripe receipt, with Stripe. Mandalo does not use customer contact information for marketing or place raw contact information in Stripe metadata.
Payment processing and Stripe
All payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects additional information as required by financial regulations, including for identity verification. Stripe's privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy) governs the data Stripe collects.
Cookies and sessions
Mandalo uses a secure, httpOnly session cookie to keep merchants signed in. Mandalo may also use PostHog analytics to understand public site visits, sanitized referrers, and pageviews. Payment links, account recovery and verification pages, merchant dashboard routes, and admin routes are excluded. Query strings and one-time tokens are not sent to analytics. Analytics are used to improve Mandalo and are not used to sell personal information.
Data retention
Payment records are retained as part of the receipt trail for merchants and their customers. If you want to close your merchant account or request deletion of your data, contact support@getmandalo.net.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the data Mandalo holds about you, correct inaccurate information, or ask for deletion. Contact support@getmandalo.net with your request.
