Refunds, disputes, and payment support.

Mandalo gives local service businesses a clear payment record and receipt trail. Stripe processes the payment. The merchant is the first contact for job-related questions and refunds.

For customers

Your payment confirmation shows the business you paid, the service description, the date, and the card brand and last four digits when available. If Stripe provides one, you'll also see a link to an official Stripe receipt.

For merchants

Keep job records — notes, photos, messages, and completion details. If a customer files a card dispute, Stripe may ask you for evidence that the work was authorized and completed.

Saved cards

A saved card is tied to the specific merchant you saved it with — not to Mandalo broadly. Every future payment request from that merchant still requires your explicit approval before any charge is submitted.

Refunds

Start with the merchant who performed the service. If a refund is agreed upon, the merchant issues it through Stripe. Mandalo holds the payment record as part of the receipt trail but does not initiate refunds on the merchant's behalf.

Disputes

Card disputes are handled between your card issuer and Stripe. If you file a dispute, Stripe notifies the merchant and may request evidence. Mandalo can provide payment records to support the resolution.

Payment-link and receipt support

For questions about a specific payment link, receipt delivery, or saved-card setup, Mandalo can help. For job-related questions and refund decisions, start with the merchant who did the work.

Common questions

I want a refund for a service.

Contact the merchant who performed the work. They can issue a refund through Stripe if they agree to one. Mandalo cannot issue refunds on behalf of a merchant.

I see a charge I don't recognize.

Check the business name on your payment confirmation. If you still don't recognize it, contact your card issuer. They'll initiate a dispute directly with Stripe.

My receipt didn't arrive by email.

Check your spam folder. If the email address was entered incorrectly, the merchant can send a corrected link. You can also view your Stripe receipt from the payment confirmation page.

I want to remove a saved payment method.

Saved cards are stored with Stripe and scoped to the specific merchant. Contact that merchant or reach out to Mandalo to have the saved method removed.

What Mandalo does not do

Mandalo does not decide whether a service job was completed correctly, does not store card numbers or CVCs, and does not control whether Stripe approves a refund or dispute. Mandalo does not add convenience fees to customer payments — customers pay exactly the amount shown. Card data, refunds, receipts, and disputes are all handled through Stripe.
