Per pane or flat rate?
Per-pane pricing is easy to explain and scales with the house, so put the pane count on the invoice. Flat pricing works for repeat storefront routes. Either way, list what was included so the customer sees what the number covers.

Should I charge per pane or per visit?
Per pane is the clearest for homes because the customer can see how the total was built. Per visit works well for storefronts and repeat routes where the scope is the same each time.
What if the customer isn't home when I finish?
Send the payment link by text or email. They can pay from their phone with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay whenever they open it.
